Analytical Note

The scientists of the N.I. Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University in association with the scientists and physicians of a number of scientific research institutions and centers, large clinics (The Military Medical Institute of the Russian Federation Border Guard Service, the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy, the Nizhny Novgorod Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, the Academician I.N. Blokhina Nizhny Novgorod Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, the Nizhny Novgorod Scientific Research Dermatovenerologic Institute, the Interregional Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, the N.A. Semashko Nizhny Novgorod Regional Hospital, the Nizhny Novgorod Infantile Regional Hospital and etc.) have managed to create a whole scientific and practical direction for solution of tasks on the EHF EMR with a "white noise" type spectrum use in medicine and biology as well as in the allied spheres. The EHF-therapy apparatus "AMPHIT-0.2/10-01" has been developed and produced with the requirements of the military medicine taken into account. It is portable, highly reliable, universal and completely harmless for medical personnel. At present the scientists and physicians have accumulated a large statistical material on effectiveness of the EHF low-intensive EMR use with a noise spectrum (53-78 GHz) permitting to use this method practically in all the spheres of medicine. Since 1997 the apparatus has been tested actually in all units of the RF BGS medical service.

The use of the low-intensive broad-bend EMR of the EHF with a "white noise" type spectrum generated by the EHF-therapy portable medical apparatuses of the "AMPHIT" series for military medicine and emergency medicine is possible in two directions:

I. Preventive Use

Immunorehabilitation - increase of body heterospecific resistance for people who suffer from often and long-lasting sickness, performance of seasonal EHF- disease prevention and emergency EHF-prevention in pockets of infections.
The adjuvant effect resulting from inoculation of people with a reduced immunoresistance.
Prevention of dysadaptation violations during the initial period of service and within a period of special operations performance.
Antistress action during performance of combat missions under conditions of large psychical and physical loads.
Radioprotective action before performance of tasks at risk to obtain irradiation injury.
Performance of preparation for scheduled surgeries of sick people in medical institutions to increase their natural resistance and prevention of progression of purulent septic infections.
Immunorehabilitation - rehabilitation of psycho-physiological indicators and performance capability of persons (military men, members of special units and police, rescuers, sportsmen and etc.) after fulfillment of tasks related to large physical and psychical loads, after illness, injuries and etc.
The increase of unfavorable professional and production factors body resistance (prevention of health status violation of computer operators, sea disease, decrease of results of intoxication and etc.).

To perform EHF-prevention, the acupuncture points, as well as reflexogenic zones methods of finding those points are simple and accessible. Point action time is 3-5 minutes, total duration of a session is 25-30 minutes, and the number of sessions is 6-10. According to research data, EHF-prevention permits to speed up rehabilitation of working capacity after a hard physical load at 2-3 times, considerably to improve psycho-physiological indicators. Considering that the apparatus is applicable for personal application (i.e. without a doctor), and it is supplied with clear and intelligible instructions for use, it is possible to perform preventive treatment to the military personnel directly in military units.

II. Use for Disease Treatment

Infectious diseases (influenza virus infection, acute respiratory viral infection of upper air passages, tonsillitis, contagious parotitis, viral hepatitis).
Diseases of the respiratory system (English diseases, pneumonia, pleuritis, bronchial allergy).
Otorhinolaryngologic diseases (blennorrhinia, otitis, tonsillitis).
Postoperative wounds including complicated by purulent septic infections; trophic ulcers, burns, freezing injury.
Oral surgery, stomatology (tooth ache, paradontosis, periostitis).
Diseases of the musculoskeletal system (arthritis, arthrosis, limb insults).
Skin diseases and subdermal cellulose (furunculus, carbuncle, apostasis, phlegmon, dermatitis, weeping dermatitis, psoriasis, neurodermatitis).
Endocrine diseases (diabetes and its complications), cancer and a number of other diseases (more than 80 nosological forms of diseases).

III. The Use of EHF-therapy by Low-intensive EMR in a Complex Treatment of Alcoholism, Narcomania and Toxicomania and Abstinence Symptoms Removal

The EHF-therapy is used basically in a set of remedial measures but it can be used as monotherapy. The "AMFIT-0,2/10-01" apparatus can be effectively used both in hospitals and in outpatient medicine and allows the following:

to reduce the dates of a hospital treatment of a broad spectrum of diseases;
to extend the possibilities of ambulant therapy in military units and on shipboards;
to increase an effectiveness of the medicament use and at the same time to decrease a dosage of the prescribed drugs, the analgetic means and even sometimes to refuse from their use;
to reduce the dates of a rehabilitations period.
to successfully realize a high prophylactic potential of the method;
to sufficiently reduce the risk of human immunodeficiency virus-contagion communication and hepatitis sickness.

For disease treatment the apparatus is used for both physiotherapeutic (for impact on affected regions, wounds and etc.), and reflexotherapeutic medical exposure regimens (reflexogenic zones and acupuncture active points). The average number of manipulations is from 7 to 10, total duration of the session is 25-30 minutes. The clinical performance of the treatment is achieved in 90-95% of cases. When the low-intensive broad-band EMR of the EHF with a "white noise" type spectrum affects the body of a sick person a whole set of positive features is realized - analgetic action, ability to improve blood microcirculation, to remove different neurodystrophic processes, ability to positively affect the blood flow property, correct the immune status, to increase nonspecific protective forces of a body, to activate angenesis processes and etc.
